Both Animtim and I get the same problem. With the PPA, wacom returns
strange results. You can see this in Krita, in the way that every stroke
drawn doesn't start where the stylus actually is, but from some point to
the top left corner (presumably 0,0) to the point where

vanilla install of Kubuntu Maverick 32 bit, every 5-20 minutes the
kernel just hangs. I say it's the kernel as even Alt+Sysrq+RSEINUB does

Interestingly I was getting this problem on Archlinux until I upgraded
to QT 4.7.0-Beta 1 and then it dissapeared. I've got QT 4.7.0-Beta 1 on
Kubuntu though and it still doesn't work, so I suspect that the basic
problem is fixed but that there's still need for some config fun.

I get this when I suspend to ram and then resume. As in the above report
ctrl+f1, ctrl+f7 fixes the problem as does typing in a text document.
I'm using Kubuntu Lucid Final 32bit on an AMD64 processor with an ATI
HD4850 running the FOSS ati driver. I didn't have this on karmic,
either.

Working pressure from my tablet stylus in both QT/KDE apps and GTK apps.

Only GTK apps (eg Gimp, Mypaint etc) work perfectly with tablet pressure. QT
apps (Krita / QT's wacom widget etc) still respond to cursor
I'm getting this on a machine with: Kubuntu Lucid AMD 64, Radeon HD 4850
running ATI driver.
Lucid Beta 2 live cd works fine, but my installed version (which worked
fine a few weeks ago until I updated recently) gets to KDM and then just
stops. Mouse and Keyboard don't *seem* to respond, however

1. I boot with radeon.modeset=0 as I just get a black screen otherwise

I'd also like to add that stylus pressure only works in GTK apps and not
in KDE based ones. My research seems to sugest though that this is a bug
in QT only looking for tablets with particular names that is patched

Yeah, the problem only seems to surface on internally mounted disks.
External USB disks work fine for me too. KDE's Removable Devices tool
in System Settings also fails to mount these disks.

By the way, wacdump seems to return x/y position, pressure and
touch=down perfectly. When I click the right button or middle button

A number of people have stated that this is a 64bit Nvidia only problem.
This problem is not Nvidia specific.
My machine is 64 bit with all AMD graphics, and I've been getting this
problem too despite being on a vanilla install without having ever
installed any of the Nvidia drivers.
