This just happened to me when I tried to install the Ubuntu One client
while offline. It worked ok once I connected to the internet so maybe
that is what is causing it?

Yes this is fixed by a backport or a PPA. But it requires additional action
(adding a PPA or a backport) by the user so could you tell me how am I wrong?
This is because of a conflict between PokerTH's versionning and ubuntus update
policy.

I tested the package in -proposed on my laptop where I noticed the
initial bug and it works (=icon in Alt-Tab is high res) but the version
is still 0.9.4.
