Also the USB-Bluetoothdongle from Logitech. btusb is loaded but hci won't find
a bluetooth device.

the reboot=a,w works for me.
the noefi command leads to no booting of ubuntu.
I installt ubuntu (and win7) in Uefi mode with gtp.
And Windows has the same problems with halt and reboot. Could it be,
that the efi in the s205 dosen't understand efi halt and reboot
commands?!?

Hi,
the Asus 1101HA uses a Intel GMA500 chip fpr graphics. This one is not
supported by the normal intel drivers nor verry well by vesa.
You'll need this package poulsbo-driver-2d ... this works for me.
There is an artikle in the german ubuntu wiki how to install this drivers

so the wireless-switch works if you add rfkill_input to your
/etc/modules ...
btw: like in bug #356335 eeepc-acpi-scripts is uninstallable. So I
tried to load the eeepc_laptop module but this changes nothing (see bug
#328989).
Still not working:

So ... I've done some research:
It seems that only user with the german version of the AUSUS EEE 1101HA have
this problem.
Changing the keyboard-layout to any english/us one does nothing.
And eee-applet, eee-control don't work for this model.

I did collect the needed data ... using a 10.04 live system without psb-graphic
(only vesa).
the brightness key do change the brightness ... but without displaying this
nice notifyer window.
Also all other (wlan, audio, displayswith) exapt numlock and hibranate ceased
functionalaty.

bootrec.exe can repair - Windows boots ... after installing

For all with this situation, there is a workaround:
Boot your ubuntu and install grub to the linux partion
grub-install /dev/sda6 --force in my case (you need --force, because grub
will tell you, that install grub to a partion is not the nice way.
