AHCI to Compatibility, as shown in this link:
Solved after upgrading to Intrepid, despites still thinking that the new
NetworkManager is still very buggy.
Yet to fix ath9k for hardy, since it's a LTS release!

I'm not able to get sound from a sound blaster live, that should use the

The driver is not loaded, so the card is not available, but it is show
with lspci.

This is still not working! I had to download jasmin and using it's jar (same
version at all) in jaunty so that I could compile my files.
Maybe there's an old patch damaging the source?

As said, Eclipse (any version) looks damn ugly in Ubuntu (any version).
Not only that, it also becomes unusable in laptops since it has so many empty
spaces, leaving close to no space to the actual programming environment.
