Kernel still not showing up as an update, but able to manually install
it with apt-get install linux-image-2.6.31-107-imx51. Rebooted with

Ok, here's some steps to reproduce/debug the issue we are seeing.
1. get latest image from http://cdimage.ubuntu.com/ports/daily-
live/current/ and flash it to a SD card following the instructions at
https://help.ubuntu.com/community/Installation/FromImgFiles.
2. After booting, Run Install
Also, with the above image, you can disconnect the drive from the
onboard sata port and plug it into a USBSATA adapter and the system
will boot into X without a problem and with no changes to the image or

triggering the Incomplete Language Support dialog is to run the

and he reported that on a 8x Prestonia (Xeon) system with 6G memory, it

I mean that images that worked with the Jaunty usb-creator no longer
work with the karmic usb-creator-[gtk|kde]. Essentially, the new usb-
creator package is not properly writing the mbr of the usb device.

I no longer receive the warning message, however when I try to plug in
either a DM9601 based usb-nic or a Pegasus based usb-nic, I get Error
reading MAC address, and then the system fails to recognize any new usb
devices from that point on. Tried plugging in a usb thumb drive to
record dmesg
