I experience the same erroneous behaviour as Migrus, and his workaround
works also for me. I am not sure when this started though. At least,

When I fill an input field in a web form, Firefox stops accepting
further keystrokes after a couple of characters. The same happens in
the URL address line. I have to re-click on the input field with the
mouse, and then I can continue typing.
Now, I cannot select the nouveau driver anymore. Fabio, I give up. I
will do a fresh install today. I will report whether this has helped.
If not, chances are good that at least troubleshooting will be easier
with a fresh installation. Be that as it may, I report my findings

If I disable nvidia, I get pixel garbage instead of the login screen. I
used jockey-text on the text console to activate nouveau, but I still
got pixel garbage. It may be due to the fact that I upgrade to Natty
instead of doing a fresh install. But I don't know.

Still not working in Intrepid. I suggest an option switch: By default,
bubbles are suppressed when a full-screen app is in the foreground (and
only then!), or they are shown always.
Note that the sound signal of the bubble can be heard always, so it's
inconsistent at the moment.

I don't see this bug when burning an ISO image, only when the filesystem
is created on-the-fly.
Sebastien, I did what you told me, however, could you give me a hint
where the log data is written?
