[Bug 179056] vdr-plugin-remote recognises the wrong input device

Public bug reported: Binary package hint: vdr-plugin-remote vdr-plugin-remote-0.3.9 (and earlier) for vdr 1.4.7 using the parameter -i autodetect the plugin scans all input-devices using two different search strings. First it looks for DVB on-card IR receiver, then for a single dvb or DVB.

The problem obviously came up with version 5.2.5 of gutenprint and affects both epson stylus S20 and S21 (I have tested both). No driver delivered with (k)ubuntu 10.04 is working. It's always the same effect as described above. On http://forum.ubuntuusers.de/topic/gutenprint-5-2-5/#post-2449404

The package is obviously outdated and incompatible with some libs. Compiling it myself using the current sources from ubuntu builds a starting an running xmlcopyeditor. So someone who is able to rebuild the package and put it into the ubuntu-repository should do just this. -- You received this
