Without an option to listen to localhost only it is impossible to
securely connect to vino server through SSH tunnel. I would say Ubuntu
is insecure with such kind of default client. It usually a matter of
hours before you get scanned by some roaming droid that will try to
break the pass next try.
From the Java apps I remember, I tried to use Eclipse and Netbeans IDEs.
I also remember that Ubuntu version was outdated, so it was probably
from 3rd party .deb Could this trigger installation of gcj?

I've managed to get rid of it without reboot by disabling Accessibility
feature in CCSM, after which Unity crashed, but windows were restored
ok.

I can't hear a sound when another user is logged in in my system. On a
clean restart I leave my session by suspending session. Sound works, but
I stop all playing applications . Another user turns on the PC, it
awakes and user logs in. Then the user also puts PC into suspend.

Actually, all users except me are in audio group. I explicitly gave them
permissions to Use audio devices when creating. This should be better
explained in Users and groups editor. Maybe rename the option to
Exclusive use of audio devices? By the way, ubuntu-bug audio could
also check this
