[Bug 1120690] [NEW] Sound disappear for a moment for some mp3 files at begining

2013-02-09 Thread avi9526
Public bug reported:

This problem appear in:
Ubuntu 12.10 (Installed on real hardware with latest updates)
Ubuntu 12.04 (Installed on Virtual-Box with latest updates)

This problem affect next media players: Amarok, Totem, Rhythmbox
This problem DOESN'T affect next media players: Audacious, VLC

My problem is similar to this bugs:
https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/gstreamer0.10/+bug/289638
https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/gstreamer0.10/+bug/336543

What I do:
1) Install packages: gstreamer0.10-{tools,plugins-{good,bad,ugly}}
2) Take mp3 file that causes this bug (I can't give it since it may be
protected by copyrights)
3) Run command in console
gst-launch playbin uri=file:///home/avi9526/Temporary/audio.mp3
--gst-debug-level=3

What I expected to happen: Hear music without any distortion.
What happened instead: After 1 sec of playback sound disappear for ~0.2 sec and
then appear again and I get this warning message when this happens

0:00:01.032890902 10862 0x7f4ea8002280 WARN   baseaudiosink
gstbaseaudiosink.c:1567:gst_base_audio_sink_get_alignment:audiosink-
actual-sink-pulse Unexpected discontinuity in audio timestamps of
+0:00:00.052199546, resyncing

Removing packages gstreamer0.10-plugins-{bad,ugly} and installing
gstreamer0.10-fluendo-mp3 fix this problem but causes dying pig
sound when start playing or change playback position. So, this is not a
good option.

[Bug 1069123] Re: Nautilus freeze for minute when first open home folder

2012-10-22 Thread avi9526
No, other users on my PC doesn't have such problem when opening any
folder.

This problem persist for my user since Ubuntu 12.04. Before update to
Ubuntu 12.10 I remove all hidden files. But problem appear anyway.
Removing configuration folders (when Unity not running) .gnome .gnome2
.gconf .gconfd .metacity .cache .dbus .dmrc .mission-control
.thumbnails doesn't help to solve this issue.

Seems, disabling thumbnailing fix this freeze at starting Nautilus after
killall nautlius (when I tried disable thumbnailing in nautilus
setting - it's freeze for ~20sec). Further more, set option Count
number of items for folders to Never (but thumbnailing for files
enabled Show thumbnails = Local files only) help to fix Nautilus
start after killall nautlius but, when I try to run Nautilus just
after I login my user - it's run on background with high CPU usage and
not responding for ~30 sec. This seems is not a solution for me.

Below, in attachment, You can find log of command ls -al to see if
there is any file or folder than can cause such troubles

[Bug 917612] Re: Easy keylogging of user password

2012-01-18 Thread avi9526
** Description changed:

+ OS: Ubuntu 11.10 amd64 with gnome-classic session.
  I've found that most of user authentication programs that used in Ubuntu is
pkexec. The problem is that this program do not lock the keyboard (while gksu
does).
  For example, the program xneur (analog of puntoswitcher) can log keystrokes.
And when I turn on this option, I found my password used to authenticate
applications in this log (this password can be used to get access to root).
+
+ Steps to reproduce
+ 1) XNeur used as keylogger, but version in Ubuntu repository don't work
correctly.
+ I used xneur from repository of it's authors
+ ppa:andrew-crew-kuznetsov/xneur-stable
+ Start xneur with command: gxneur
+ 2) Enable keylogging:
+ 2.1) Click with second mouse button at xneur icon in system tray to get popup
menu and click Preferences
+ 2.2) Go to tab called log and check Enable keyboard logging, then press
OK
+ 2.3) Logfile is accessible in $HOME/.xneur/xneurlog.html (I use firefox to
view this log)
+ 3) Launch application that use pkexec:
+ 3.1) synaptic-pkexec write Your password, then hit Enter
+ 3.2) gnome-control-center --overview go to User accounts and press
Unlock, write Your password, then hit Enter
+ 4) Ckeck out log file $HOME/.xneur/xneurlog.html. My password is there.

[Bug 781450] [NEW] Ghost image in window's shadow

2011-05-11 Thread avi9526
Public bug reported:

Binary package hint: compiz

OS:
Ubuntu 11.04
compiz:
1:0.9.4+bzr20110415-0ubuntu2
Windows decorator: Matacity

In compiz config window enabled Blur, and have next settings:
pulse = False
blur_speed = 3.5
focus_blur_match = toolbar | menu | utility | normal | dialog | modaldialog
focus_blur = False
alphs_blur_match = any
alpha_blur = True
filter = Gaussian
gaussian_radius = 15
gaussian_strength = 1.0
mipmap_lod = 2.5
saturation  = 100
occlusion = True
independent_tex = False or True (in any case I get bug)

From this moment shadows of windows also have blur, but sometimes in
shadow, permanently or for a moment, appear ghost image (see attachment
screen.jpg). To get it - window maybe must be moved over another window.
