When I exit GL-117 through the game's built in 'quit' option, the game
simply stops responding and refuses to exit. I must drop to a text
terminal and run a kill -9 to end the program. If I do this, and then
return to X, I find that the mouse does

When I exit bzflag, either through the menu system or by hitting 'f12',
bzflag hangs and does not exit. This crash happens both in full screen
and in windowed mode. I am only able to kill bzflag by switching to
terminal and running kill -9.

the Nvidia binary driver.

Okay, I'm running Karmic and I just tried to do that. The program
actually launches and displays a gui, but then crashes after around 5-10
seconds.

After launching, the worldwind window appears. However, mouse movements
and clicks have no effect on the main display. If worldwind is run from
a console, a stream of Java exceptions appears every time the user moves
the mouse.

Actually, the problem I am having with this package under 8.04 seems to
be somewhat different. The version in 9.10 outputs a SIGILL (Illegal
instruction) while the version in 8.04 gives a SEGFAULT.
