I was experiencing this problem previously, but cannot recreate it now.
However, it hangs for about 30-40s when you click Finish at the end of
the subform wizard, but does recover (this is on a quad cpu/4GB ram, so
hardware capability should not be a factor here)

Since this upstream version has not been backported to 9.10, the bug is still
valid - in 9.10.
Jaunty has an 18 month support life - and is still the current stable release.
I can't work out how you can justify setting the status invalid.

This is a major problem. I can not easily recommend a system that does
not have a easy way to hook up to other house hold computers.
You say solved, and after changing that file, rebooting server and PC a
few times, it did work.
Still, what a mess for
