[Bug 124743] Re: Sony Sixaxis Controller does not work over bluetooth in Feisty
In my attempt to get the SIXAXIS working, I've been unable to do so. However, I've discovered that the kernel does appear to have the necessary patches to make it work. What's missing in feisty is the bluez-utils patch to hidd to make it work. I've built a package with this patch, and am able to connect to the SIXAXIS over bluetooth. However, pushing the buttons on the gamepad does nothing, over either usb or bluetooth. ** Attachment added: Patch against bluez-utils in feisty for bt sixaxis support http://launchpadlibrarian.net/8746090/00-hidd-sixaxis-pabr2-3.9.dpatch -- Sony Sixaxis Controller does not work over bluetooth in Feisty https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/124743 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is the bug contact for Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
[Bug 124743] Re: Sony Sixaxis Controller does not work over bluetooth in Feisty
It does appear that the USB connection works. However, whenever I try to set the joypad buttons in zsnes, the application locks up, so I'm unable to use the sixaxis with zsnes. Running jstest in a terminal though, the analog sticks, and gamepad buttons do work, all except for the select button, which appears to be the 17th button, and the device gets limited to 16. In bluetooth mode, the sixaxis seems to connect, but is apparently not being set to operational or something, as jstest fails to read signal from the buttons. -- Sony Sixaxis Controller does not work over bluetooth in Feisty https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/124743 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is the bug contact for Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
[Bug 1719108] [NEW] Latest Chromium update has muted color rendering
Public bug reported: After the latest Chromium update in 16.04, many of the sites I regularly use are now rendered with a muted look to much of the colors. Attached is a screenshot showing the issue, which seems to also be replicated in the Brave browser (which is also based on Chromium). [Bug 1719108] Re: Latest Chromium update has muted color rendering
@David F. Well, my screen is in sRGB (it's a Dell UltraSharp 4k display with 100% sRGB coverage. Also, the Chromium incognito mode has a weird issue related to the color difference, shown in the newly attached screenshot. This also was not an issue until upgrading to the latest Chromium. For some reason it looks fine still on my XPS 13 laptop, but I don't know the details of screen color space there. ** Attachment added: "Screenshot from 2017-10-11 15-37-42.png" https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/chromium-browser/+bug/1719108/+attachment/4967923/+files/Screenshot%20from%202017-10-11%2015-37-42.png -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1719108 Title: Latest Chromium update has muted color rendering To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/chromium-browser/+bug/1719108/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
[Bug 1082418] Re: [Fujitsu Lifebook AH532] UEFI firmware locks itself after installing Ubuntu in UEFI mode
It's nice that you've managed to find a workaround for yourself @Filippo, but this does not constitute the bug being fixed, nor your working to resolve the fix. [Bug 1797242] [NEW] apparmor package has inappropriate Breaks/Replaces
Public bug reported: After the removal of the unity8 stack from the Ubuntu archive, it seems apparmor now has a set of Breaks/Replaces on various components used by unity8, and thus makes using the continued work of the UBports team to get Unity8 usable on PCs, difficult. It also seems quite inappropriate for something as low level as apparmor to have these Breaks/Replaces: Breaks: fcitx-data Breaks: Breaks: Breaks: Breaks: Replaces: fcitx-data It would be great if these could be removed from the package in an update for Ubuntu 18.04 (and preferably in newer versions of Ubuntu as well), so that low level packages in Ubuntu are not preventing downstreams from building upon the platform in such manner. ** Affects: apparmor (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1797242 Title: apparmor package has inappropriate Breaks/Replaces To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/apparmor/+bug/1797242/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
[Bug 1840264] [NEW] Bluetooth broken on 18.04 with linux-hwe 5.0
Public bug reported: After rebooting with the new 5.0 HWE kernel on 18.04, bluetooth no longer works properly. Switching to VT1 results in a stream of BLE failure messages while my Logitech MX Ergo or MX Master 2S try to connect. I have also tried installing a backported build of bluez 5.50 from 19.04 to no avail, as the failure continues in the same manner. [Bug 1840264] Re: Bluetooth broken on 18.04 with linux-hwe 5.0
OK. I've tried on my XPS 13 laptop and it works fine there, with Intel 7260 adapter. My PC where this is failing, has a Killer 1550 (Intel 9260) adapter.
