zenity --scale --text=helo --min-value=1 --max-value=255 --step=1 --value=200.
When the --value= option is set to a number higher then 100 the slider is
always set to 100.
zenity --scale --text=helo --min-value=1 --max-value=255 --step=1
so the solution for me was:
Completely removed the following packages:
compizconfig-settings-manager
python-compizconfig
Installed the following packages:
compizconfig-settings-manager (0.5.2+git20070912-0ubuntu1)
python-compizconfig (0.5.2+git20070912-0ubuntu1)

To manage notifications
Hello,
What's the point of just closing bugs without assigning them to someone or
fixing them? Bugs and problems go away as users go away from Ubuntu?
The bug is still there in Ubuntu 10.10 (Sticky Notes 2.30.0). And because of
Unity that will be the last usable Ubuntu for many for a long time
eh, sorry... the system is pretty basic lubuntu x86 11.04.

Update: seems that options snd-hda-intel position_fix=1 model=3stack
fixes this after all. I still can't quite believe it. But it would be a
step forward if this manual editing of configuration was not needed. It
took me over a year to stumble over the correct configuration line. So,

I created .iso (bh_1.iso) in my home dir with same Brasero. now i try to open
it later to burn the image but i can't open it, because if i select the .iso
file in file selector (after i click on a 'click here to select a disc image')
i can see

'Replace' (Ctrl+H) doesn't replace searched strings but adds (attaches) the new
replacement strings to the old ones. Specific case: Replace 100 with 50
throughout document, I get 10050 everywhere, but it should be 50s, IMHO.
