Problem exists for me in Firefox 3.6.8 under Kubuntu Lucid. It's not a consistent problem, though, and I can't find a pattern. Sometimes I can resolve it by closing some tabs or restarting Firefox but it's completely possible neither of these have any effect on what appears to be a random problem.
