I'm running Xubuntu 9.10 with NVIDIA nForce MSI MS-6367 v1.0
motherboard. For me also ACPI always reports that CPU temperature is 22
C.
$ sudo cat /proc/acpi/thermal_zone/THRM/temperature
temperature: 22 C

I have now also tested a clean install of Karmic Koala release version,
with packages updated to latest versions. The bug is still present as I
described it before.

Problem with WPA here too after I upgraded to intrepid today. Fresh
syslog attached including some earlier struggling with this issue, after
the latest boot I tried once to connect to ap.

I forget to give more spesific info:
After upgrading to intrepid I was unable to connect to my AP, so I created new
wireless connection. But no luck for me, when I try to connect to AP nm-applet
shows some spinning animation and after a while appears a dialog which asks a
password for that AP,
Update. I got another wireless AP for testing and managed connect to it
using WPA without problems. So, in my case the problem was related
somehow to my AP (dlink-624).

I made an interesting discovery during the holidays. My motherboard has
an integrated display adapter, and when I am using it instead of an AGP-
card, temperatures are displayed correctly. However, when I am using a
AGP-card, the temperatures are shown incorrectly.

tty refcount patch series is needed, more work is required to fix the
problem. If I understood his mailing list message correctly, the system
locks up when the device is released even after his patches have been
applied.
Gianluca Azolin's patches were merged to net-next day before yesterday.
And yesterday they were merged to Linus' master branch. So patches will
be in 3.12 rc1.

I was running three Virtualbox clients while two of them hung. Those two
which hung were on same nvme disk while the one which remained in
operation was another nvme disk.

Bugs,
After upgrade from 17.04 to 17.10 I can only change brightness if I log
in to unity desktop and from there adjust brightness setting in system
settings.
With Ubuntu 17.10 I have tried following combinations:
Xorg, nvidia & unity: ok
Xorg, nvidia & gnome: not ok
Wayland, nouveau & gnome: not ok
I tried kernel linux-image-5.3.0-1013-raspi2 on Pi4. I'm running mate-
desktop-environment using autologin and with this kernel X-server
started but only showing black screen with mouse cursor, I could log in
with ssh. I rolled back to linux-image-5.3.0-1012-raspi2 for now.

That line was already commented out (#dtoverlay=vc4-fkms-v3d) in config.txt
so I blacklisted module v3d, works now better with 1013 kernel. Thanks.

Tried to install Ubuntu 20.04.02 Desktop to Virtualbox 6.1.18.
Installation type was set to minimal, in partition window ZFS was
selected.
Installation chrashed, system gathered log files should be attached. I
dont have access to those as system is not installed.
