[Bug 1208808] [NEW] Clipman does not show the clipped/copied text

2013-08-06 Thread markov035
Public bug reported:

$ uname -a
Linux marc-Aspire-T140 3.8.0-28-generic #41-Ubuntu SMP Fri Jul 26 16:28:49 UTC
2013 i686 i686 i686 GNU/Linux

clipman version: 2:1.2.3-1build2

The clips do not appear under the upper panel, the seem to appear in the
invisible plane ABOVE the upper panel...

At the moment the clips are open there, the computer will NOT react to any
other mouse click ... or keystroke event ...

I cannot make a screen shot neither ..

[Bug 437113] Re: System hangs with nvidia binary driver loaded

2010-01-10 Thread markov035
I have a PAckard Bell imax mini, and that works OK with nvidia driver
195.

I did use the hdmi cable on a 1680x1050 monitor/tv, but that did not
give the right resolution, I guess HDMI is 720p, or true 1080p

I now use VGA cable (more resolutions possible)

One thing I see in kinfocenter: an OHCI device, where there is no one
board??

I have a working dvbt device, where the dvbs does not work .. (another
bug I will add here on lauchpad)

Hardware is a Packard Bell imax mini. I do not have a problem on other

The Packard Bell imax mini and the Acer Aspire Revo seem to be the same.

[Bug 331248] [NEW] In Kaffeine I have sound , no image (XAA option in xorg.conf)

2009-02-18 Thread markov035
Public bug reported:

I have in fact eeebuntu, then I installed kaffeine and all needed
codecs.

I use a Terratec T² dvbt box. All drivers are OK for that device, the
pinguin is on the box.

When I have the option

Option AccelMethod XAA

(/etc/X11/xorg.conf in the device section)

I have sound, no picture.

When I comment this option out:

# Option AccelMethod XAA

the image is back.

It conflicts somehow: if you want to run kstars you will need that option,
otherwise the mouse is away ...
(and with kaffeine the mouse *remains* there, no problem with that.)

Problem related to
https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/kdeedu/+bug/260630
