Thank you for all of this work. I am not sure that I should be changing
the tags based on previous experience, but here is my test report.
For testing, I updated to the linux/6.8.0-32.32 generic kernel in noble-
proposed. It seemed that I needed to reinstall the intel-ipu6-dkms
after installing
Confirming report. I can select any physical device partitions to format
and mount, but /dev/md* devices are not listed. The "Next" button is
grayed out, the upper left X button cancels the installation, and the
only remaining option is "Back" to select a different kind of
installation. My
I have upgraded to the noble-proposed ipu6-drivers package. Is there a
particular kernel that needs to be installed to get the camera to work?
Or is the kernel fix not yet available?

Can confirm this happens here too. Ubuntu 24.04, GNOME 46 on Wayland.
At first I thought that may be related to the Dash to Dock extension
because this happens clicking the dock, but after going back to Ubuntu
standard extensions the problem moved to the top bar.

Many applications seem to fail under a Wayland session that work correctly with
an Xorg session. E.g.
- The nextcloud client app fails to contact the server and functions in the app
will not launch with Wayland while they work perfectly in Xorg
- The Vivaldi browser exits
But it can't be affecting all installations. I installed one or two dailies
before the beta. The error appeared after an upgrade. Currently fully upgraded.
Maybe just re-install... It's annoying to type the password three times at each
login. :D

In Cockpit's CI we see a lot of pmproxy crashes like [1] in a test which
starts/stops/reconfigures pmlogger, pmproxy, and redis. The journal
(some examples are [2][3][4]) always shows a similar stack trace:

It happens about every other shutdown/reboot. I'm having occasional
problems with suspend as well, which works fine 50% of the time or else
freezes.
