Why not just Audio-CD-Ripper
It's short and simple.
My guess is, that german people are used to the english word ripper in
this context and the german word Ausleser would confuse them.

I am using an Acer 5652 Notebook with a NVIDIA Geforce Go 7600.
What I don't understand exactly is the dmesg output:
