It happens especially when i play a movie immidiately after loging in by
playing movie in inbulit movie player. Then later i downloded vlc player and
later i downloaded kplayer too. But with all these player when the movie is
played it will play for sometime and then after sometimes it gets struck

the keyboard did not load load correctly. The five, seven, and nine keys will
not work. What can be done to repair this

Bottom line--if I run it in safe mode, it lets me relaunch it in normal
mode. Once. Then I have to repeat the safe mode again.

since then sound is not working
but hardware and other devices are funtioning.

After karmic update my login goes straight to recovery console. Both gdm
as well as kdm does not start. But once logged into recovery console if
I run sudo gdm, gdm comes up fine. So does kdm. I tried enabling boot
