I've upgraded from 8.04 with 2.6.24-21-generic kernel with which WEP and WPA2
worked
But new kernel 2.6.27-7-generic does well with WPA2, but WEP does not seem to
work
don't know what info i should add here...kinda new at this :S

Acer Extensa 5220 - no headphone jack detection, headphone volume too
Hi! I just made a small tarball (attached) as a quick and dirty fix
while we are waiting for the devs to include the patch. It just
recompiles the patched eeepc-laptop module against the current kernel
symbols. I just tested it on my Eee901 and seems to work.

If you don't want a whole new kernel package, I recently made a DKMS
package for the eeepc-laptop module (attached). I am not very familiar
with DKMS though, so I can't promise that it will always work. But it
works for me, so far...
