open the attached pdf in ubuntu 10.x and enter some values in the fields
and save the file. Then open the .pdf in Windows XP in Adobe acrobat
reader.

I downloaded a PDF file from internet that had fillable fields. After
entering some data, I saved a copy of pdf. Then when tried to open this
file from Windows, Adobe acrobat reader is unable to open this file.
