Binary package hint: network-manager
I get a bad crash if I resume my machine and have been connected to a
WPA Enterprise network. I am not sure if this is a problem with Network
Manager or the IPW4965 driver. This bug never occurred in Hardy, even
when using the 2.6.27

Hi,
After the last crash I don't appear to have the issue anymore :) I
think i had not rebooted the computer so the updated modules hadn't been
used.
I'll keep testing it - but so far far good :)

Ah, thanks for that. That fixed the problem :)
I didn't realise that I had to install the backports to fix the issue.
I would have thought that it would be released as an update for the
current release as it is quite important.

Waking for suspend I again got the wpa_supplicant tainted bug. The
system had to be restarted yet again..

Is this bug going to be fixed anytime soon? I have to restart my laptop
every time I disconnect from a WPA enterprise network otherwise wifi no
longer works. Trying to reload modules results in segfaults and kernel
crashes.

What the hell? Who on earth thought it was a good idea to force
animations down the users throat, especially when:
a) Animations are slow on certain systems
b) Some people don't like annoying fading/flying/gyrating windows
c) Some people like getting work down without having to wait for useless

This calculator application is inaccurate if you do the following:
1) Launch gcalctool
2) Set to scientific mode (ctr -s )
3) Set display type to sci
4) Do 1-0.9-0.1
The calculator returns -2.832847187e-219

the IEEE standard (hence the result) but other calcs seem to get round
this issue somehow. (Including BC)

Gcaltool 5.22.3.
Make sure the calculator is on sci mode and not on fix. On fix you get
-0, but on sci you should get very wrong answer.

The same thing happened to me again today. It also happens when i
modprobe -r iwlagn after it has been connected to a WPA enterprise
network.
$modprobe -r iwalgn
segmentation fault
I've attached my kernel log of the event.
