same problem here it seems not only not responsible but i have the fell
that the controls gets even reversed (maybe because of the extremely

it seems that fixes the problem: the connections works like always plus i can
finally connect trough pppoe even from network manager contextual menu (modem
connection = connection with dsl-provider trough modem).

a gconf key isn't the best thing to do as you would, everytime you have
to install ubuntu in the same/other machine, need to remember or search
the internet for the key that needs to be changed. IMHO it should be put
back anyway or enabled/disabled with a graphical
button/checkbox/whatever
before it detected my dual x screen (no xinerama/no clone) setup as
clone. now it doesn't detect the second screen, and the first screen is
being identified as Unknown. The first screen settings can be changed

i could but right now I've no security updates.
Another thing that maybe I've forgot to add is that I've the proposed
repository enabled as you will see from the sources.list. Additionally I've
also the winehq repository enabled following winehq instructions

Same problem here. I can connect to whathever host i want with the feisty pc
(even to the gutsy one), but there is no way to connect to whathever from the
gutsy pc (i can't connect even to feisty and fedora). i still can see the hosts
