Default install, I select File - Import. It accesses the SD card and
successfully displays the content. But when clicking the import button
it stays indented, but after waiting for a long time it doesn't import
anything.

The first time I wanted to activate a share I right clicked on a folder
to share it, it installed the necessary packages, and I logged out and
back in as instructed. I tried again, at first got this message:

I just went back into Synaptic and saw that samba-common-bin was flagged
to be upgraded.
I upgraded it and Sharing Options now work as expected.
samba-common-bin:
Installed: 2:3.4.0-3ubuntu5
Candidate: 2:3.4.0-3ubuntu5
Version table:

I didn't actually see an error line until I logged off and logged back
in again.
It was almost complete, showing me in the terminal window that it was
installing something. No error, just never moved on.
Then when I logged back in, it gave me that crash report.

I downloaded the recommended updates and then when it ran it hanged
while it was trying to update Samba. After about 30 minutes of it not
progressing, I logged out and back in and then Ubuntu said it found a
crash report, do I want to submit it.
