[Bug 1161687] Re: failed to synchronise; no reasons given under Details because error is not note-specific
Yep, unfortunately a replacement for Ubuntu One Notes still doesn't exist. Here's the original blog post: http://voices.canonical.com/ubuntuone/2013/02/04/notification-about- notes/ There are other sync options that may work for you. You can setup your own WebSync server with Rainy or SSHSync if you have a server with SSH access. The full list is available on the Add-ins tab under Tomboy's Preferences window. ** Changed in: tomboy (Ubuntu) Status: New = Invalid -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1161687 Title: failed to synchronise; no reasons given under Details because error is not note-specific To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/tomboy/+bug/1161687/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs

[Bug 1068783] Re: Tomboy lost notes (Data loss) on crash.
Thanks for reporting. Do the notes exist in the backup directory? Usually: $HOME/.local/share/tomboy/Backup/ This issue sounds similar to the ext4 issue[1] but that usually truncates the notes, the files should still exist after the power cycle. This has been plaguing tomboy for a while now. Any help is appreciated. [Bug 851220] Re: Tomboy 1.6.0 in Lucid keeps crashing/hanging, the notes turned greyish and can't type anything, after every 15 to 20 minutes
Do you have a stack trace with the crash? Notes turn grey during a sync to prevent editing. It should only last a few seconds but will happen as often as you have set your autosync settings. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/851220 Title: Tomboy 1.6.0 in Lucid keeps crashing/hanging, the notes turned greyish and can't type anything, after every 15 to 20 minutes To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/tomboy/+bug/851220/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs

[Bug 796471] [NEW] No image is displayed when cheese starts with resolution set to 640x480 with isight webcam
Public bug reported: Binary package hint: cheese Webcam has no problem working in gstreamer-properties or ekiga. In cheese, changing the resolution to 352x288, the image appears. Changing it back to 640x480, the image remains and cheese will successfully take 640x480 pictures. The problem is only when Cheese is started with 640x480. Starting cheese with resolution 352x288, the image appears immediately.
