[Bug 1571396] Re: py3clean crashed with Exception in from_package(): cannot get content of apt-xapian-index

All of the DIRs above had to be created manually, to continue, I had to
remove the 2 locks above, yet at the dist-upgrade -y --fix-missing I
received many other error later on (log was uploaded) in-here, but the
point, is that previous errors were fixed by creating the DIRs above.
By the way, my system is full ZFS in rpool. previous installation is
running fine, not sure if this installation had downloaded what
contributed to this? Thanks in advance for the good work you smart
people do.

This product is an upgrade of ubuntu 17.10.1 Mate to Ubuntu 18.04 LTS
Mate

via the command:

sudo do-release-upgrade -d

the results were beautiful yet it took a long time to complete, reason
is that I have long term stuff running and I do not want it to be out of
support.

THANK YOU fine people for making Ubuntu and Mate.

[Bug 1729561] [NEW] Installer was created by the tool pinguy so as to be replicated over to a 64GiB USB thumb drive, to preserve all installed apps.

2017-11-02 Thread Abram Daniel
Public bug reported:

Not sure if this bug is Ubuntu related, it would seem more likely that
it is the live dvd squash file created by Pinguy tool of which it needs
an upgrade as it was not advised to be installed at Ubuntu ver. 17.04,
yet it would not hurt to look at error log just in case, so as to make
sure Ubuntu is flawless. Many thanks in advance for the fine work and
product you are producing.

2017-09-20 Thread Abram Daniel
Dear Mr. Laager,

Very sorry for this late reply, I just noticed while I am doing In-box
cleanup.

And you are very much correct, it is no longer an issue, but I wonder if
you have an answer for this line, it is no longer showing version
number, it just give a new line return.

$sudo dmesg | grep ZFS

$

Many thanks in advance

Regards,

Dani

This is no longer an issue, as it was very easy to resolve. I had to
remove the click directory complete with all data includes. Then reinstall
utilizing the new pip tool. Sorry for not informing at the time. Many
thanks to you and your effort.
