[Bug 1903838] Re: package libcrypt1 1:4.4.10-10ubuntu4 failed to install/upgrade: rm command for cleanup subprocess returned error exit status 127

2021-01-27 Thread Alan Orth
I just hit this issue on a server as well. I had to copy the libcrypt.so.1.1.0 from a healthy Ubuntu 20.04 server via HTTP, as scp wasn't working so I assumed anything using https wouldn't either: # wget http://server:8000/libcrypt.so.1.1.0 # mv libcrypt.so.1.1.0

[Bug 814902] Re: make-kpkg kernel_headers does not produce arch/x86/include for 3.0 kernels

2011-09-07 Thread Alan Orth
I can also confirm this works on Ubuntu 11.04 x86_64 when using `make- kpkg` to make headers packages for Linux kernel 3.0, either statically setting LINK_ARCH=x86, or adding a modified conditional in /usr/share /kernel-package/ruleset/targets/headers.mk. -- You received this bug notification

[Bug 235945] Re: Rhythmbox gives priority to APEv2 tags and won't display changes to ID3v2 tags

2011-04-14 Thread Alan Orth
The python script posted in #9 is quick and painless, and worked great for my whack MP3 with an APE tag hiding inside! Rhythmbox 13.1, Maverick 10.10, x86_64. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu.

[Bug 450544] Re: itext: *.afm files missing from com.lowagie.text.pdf.fonts

2010-01-26 Thread Alan Orth
I also confirm that Johann Soden's tip fixes this bug. Get the source and Ubuntu patches from http://packages.ubuntu.com/karmic/pdftk, then recompile (the Debian way using dpkg-buildpackage, for any curious readers who don't know). Working great! -- itext: *.afm files missing from
