[Bug 1136556] Re: [HP Pavilion dv7 Notebook PC, IDT 92HD81B1X5, Black Headphone Out, Front] No sound at all
Hi guys, I have similar issues with a HP dv7 6090ef laptop but I have a workaround. The issues appeared after I upgraded to 13.04. How to reproduce: When I start the computer I have sound in speakers. When I plug headphones into one of te two front headphone jacks I have no sound. WORKAROUND: I start the alsamixer in a terminal and I unmute the second column (Speaker) and I get sound from the headphone jack. When I unplug the headphones I have sound in the speakers. When I plug them again I have no sound and I have to unmute again from the alsamixer. I did not have this problem in 12.04.
