No, there was no disk in the drive. The system's been updated 2 times since then with default updates that pop up from time to time. Today this doesn't happen. Public bug reported: I launch the gnome system monitor via system load indicator applet on the taskbar and it takes the whole CPU. The load is almost 100%. I have to login via crl+alt+F1 and kill it in htop. Also close buttom on system monitor doesn't work.
