[Bug 1960096] [NEW] package ca-certificates-java 20190909 failed to install/upgrade: installed ca-certificates-java package post-installation script subprocess returned error exit status 127
Public bug reported: The bug appeared during the *clean* installation of openjdk-18-jdk. The package was installed using `apt install openjdk-18-jdk --no-install- recommends`. It's important to mention that no previous java has been installed, so no `java` executable existed on post-install. The cause of the problem is: Processing triggers of ca-certificates (20210119ubuntu1) … Updating certificates in /etc/ssl/certs... 0 added, 0 removed; done. Running hooks in /etc/ca-certificates/update.d... /etc/ca-certificates/update.d/jks-keystore: 82: java: not found E: /etc/ca-certificates/update.d/jks-keystore exited with code 1. done. [Bug 1768230] Re: Long time booting : Failed to connect to lvmetad. Falling back to device scanning.
I've tried to boot up the recently upgraded Ubuntu Disco system in the text mode and found, that the delay happens after the script: 1. fails to connect to lvmetad 2. falls back to device scanning 3. probes for btrfs. I DO NOT have any btrfs volumes in the system so I would like to simply avoid this step. I'd like to keep the ability to hibernate/resume though, that's why I'd prefer to keep all configuration options needed for RESUME. I will continue to experiment and probably will take a look into the booting script, but maybe the information gathered so far will be useful for someone. Installed packages [probably related to the problem]: initramfs-tools_0.131ubuntu19 initramfs-tools-bin_0.131ubuntu19 initramfs-tools-core_0.131ubuntu19 lvm2_2.02.176-4.1ubuntu4 udisks2-lvm2_2.8.2-1 systemd_240-6ubuntu5 btrfs-progs_4.20.2-1 -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1768230 Title: Long time booting : Failed to connect to lvmetad. [Bug 95460] Re: samba 3.0.24 on feisty is broken
Take a look at http://git.altlinux.ru/people/morozov/packages/?p=kdenetwork.git;a=commit;h=68a44da45c0820965b0929159be00a176f11d253 The patch kdenetwork-3.5.7-alt-msdfsProxyType.patch solves the problem (well, at least at first glance :-)). If the patch can be applied to Ubuntu kdenetwork package, feel free to use it. Probably filing a bug to bugs.kde.org is also a good idea, but I'm not sure I will enforce myself to do... ** Attachment added: kdenetwork-3.5.7-alt-msdfsProxyType.patch http://launchpadlibrarian.net/8298461/kdenetwork-3.5.7-alt-msdfsProxyType.patch -- samba 3.0.24 on feisty is broken https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/95460 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is the bug contact for Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
