As soon as I set a new Ubuntu everything works. But this is better. I previously could not go through the recom mode, to enter I removed all the nvidia drivers. I can log in now. Can I uninstall the nvidia driver and reinstall it? Next please try logging into both 'Ubuntu' and 'Ubuntu on Wayland'. You can select which using the button in the bottom right corner of the login screen. Do either of those work with 5.8.0-59? I cannot do this as I have a black screen and nothing. Public bug reported: There was also no brightness setting. I have reinstalled ubuntu 3 times already. This happened after the updates on June 24th. The only solution is not to install ubuntu updates. As soon as I install updates, there is a black screen.
