But this is better. I previously could not go through the recom mode, to
enter I removed all the nvidia drivers. I can log in now.

Can I uninstall the nvidia driver and reinstall it? Choose 460?

2021-07-06 Thread Anatoli Navahrodski
Friend I can't wait - I need to work. Therefore, I deleted Ubuntu 21. I put the
version 20.04 (the problem was initially started on this version).
I have two versions.
5.8.0-59-generic - does not work.
5.8.0-43-generic - works fine.
5.8.0-59-Generic worked fine until I rebooted the computer. After that, the
black screen is again.

[Bug 1934647] [NEW] Nvidia driver black screen at login.

2021-07-05 Thread Anatoli Navahrodski
Public bug reported:

If I choose nvidia driver, then the screen is black and I cannot log in. To log
in, I need to delete all nvidia files.
After that, the xorg is selected and I can log in. But I cannot edit
brightness. I can hardly see anything on the screen. The battery is draining
very badly.

Next please try logging into both 'Ubuntu' and 'Ubuntu on Wayland'. You
can select which using the button in the bottom right corner of the
login screen. Do either of those work with 5.8.0-59?

I cannot do this as I have a black screen and nothing.
This is not available in recovery mode.

I did according to this instruction.

Maybe I did what was wrong?
The screen is still black.
Can you write what commands to make?

I will also add information that this happened in version 20.04 (I had it at
the beginning). I thought the problem was in the version and first updated to
20.10. It did not help. Then I upgraded to version 21. It didn't help either.
I am currently using 20.10 version.

[Bug 1933950] Re: I have a black screen when I login in. I have to login through a later version

2021-06-29 Thread Anatoli Navahrodski
The version higher than 5.8.0.59 does not work. I also made commands under the
root in this version today.
apt update
apt upgrade
But it still doesn't work.

5.8.0.25 works. Loading. I can't see a black screen and can adjust the
brightness of the screen.

[Bug 1933950] [NEW] I have a black screen when I login in. I have to login through a later version

2021-06-29 Thread Anatoli Navahrodski
Public bug reported:

There was also no brightness setting. I have reinstalled ubuntu 3 times
already. This happened after the updates on June 24th.
The only solution is not to install ubuntu updates. As soon as I install
updates, there is a black screen.
