New information for this bug. The problem is in
~/.kde/share/config/kmixrc file. Part of strings in this file contains
names of audio devices transtated into russian (e.g.
Устройства_воспроизведения_звука instead of Playback_Devices) and
? symbols in device sections. I have replaced this names

I think, it is not so hard, to wait for 11.04. Now we can use desktop
session with window-picker upplet in gnome panel and maximus runnig.
Anyway, Ubuntu is most usable linux distribution now.

I have the same problem on my Lenovo S10. Touchpad worked perfectly with
Ubuntu 10.04, but now horizontal scrolling don't works.
