[Bug 1887290] Re: Allegro 5.2: allegro5/allegro_audio.h not found

2020-08-21 Thread Andreas Rönnquist
It still could be that your project doesn't use pkg-config properly -
you probably need something like `pkg-config --cflags --libs
allegro_audio-5` for the compiler to find the include folder.

[Bug 1887290] Re: Allegro 5.2: allegro5/allegro_audio.h not found

2020-08-21 Thread Andreas Rönnquist
I just installed allegro on a Mint 20 in virtualbox, the version of
Allegro you get from the repositories is 2:5.2.6.0-1, without the ~focal
version addition, and this is the one from Ubuntu, and in it's turn the
Debian packaged one.

The version with ~focal comes from somewhere else, so not a
debian/ubuntu/mint package problem.

And, running

dpkg -S liballegro-audio5-dev

on the packaged one clearly shows that

/usr/include/allegro5/allegro_audio.h

is included in the package.

[Bug 1804865] [NEW] Lua dynamic libraries isn't enabled

2018-11-23 Thread Andreas Rönnquist
Public bug reported:

SciTE in ubuntu 18.04 has the Lua library embedded, and compiled without
dynamic libraries enabled. This makes it impossible to load Lua modules
which is in the dynamic library on SciTE >= 4.0, when it started using
Lua 5.3.

On later versions (SciTE >= 4.1.0) I have built Lua without using the
embedded Lua library but using Debian-packaged shared object instead,
and there this isn't a problem. (I am one of the Debian maintainers of
SciTE).

This leaves the version in 18.04, where this still is a problem.

See upstream bug at
https://sourceforge.net/p/scintilla/bugs/2058/

for a patch. Another alternative is to backport version 4.1.0 or later
to Ubuntu 18.04.

[Bug 835136] Re: scite not packages with Haskell support

2018-10-03 Thread Andreas Rönnquist
It has been removed from the default recognized languages to make menus
shorter, and because not every one uses Haskell. To reactivate, simply
remove the comment character '#' from the beginning of the line that
says

#Haskell|hs||\

under the "default.languages" variable in your configuration file
(Global option, user option, or the one that your system and user is
using),

and also remove Haskell from the "imports.exclude" variable, and
everything should be good to go.

[Bug 1775389] Re: scite 4.0 rectangular selection does not work

2018-10-03 Thread Andreas Rönnquist
The upstream changelog for 4.0.0 contains

* On Linux, both for GTK+ and Qt, the default modifier key for rectangular
selection is now
Alt. This is the same as Windows and macOS. This was changed from Ctrl as
window managers
are less likely to intercept Alt+Drag for moving windows than in the past.

So it isn't a bug, especially not since you can change it in the
programs options.

[Bug 1055247] [NEW] Search facility in Software Center misses obvious hit

[Bug 935437] Re: sciteproj version 0.6.06-1 FTBFS on i386 in precise

2012-03-17 Thread Andreas Rönnquist
I have uploaded a new version to debian unstable that fixes this -
however, the fix for this bug is a oneline change:

http://sciteproj.git.sourceforge.net/git/gitweb.cgi?p=sciteproj/sciteproj;a=commitdiff;h=7e7ab900819b252cb86e368a4a3e8646cd97dec0

while the unstable upload has a whole lot more changed.

[Bug 749227] Re: devilspie version 0.22-1 failed to build on i386

2011-09-12 Thread Andreas Rönnquist
There is a patch in the Debian BTS for the corresponding bug which
really fixes the problem, and doesn't just work around it. See
http://bugs.debian.org/cgi-bin/bugreport.cgi?bug=638991

[Bug 379834] [NEW] [needs packaging] sciteproj

2009-05-23 Thread Andreas Rönnquist
Public bug reported:

SciteProj is a very lightweight project manager for use with the SciTE
text editor. It saves the project file in human-readable XML format.

URL: http://sciteproj.sourceforge.net
License: GPL
Notes: Requires SciTE and GTK packages to run. (It doesn't really _require_
SciTE, but without it the program is pretty much pointless.)
