[Bug 1617632] Re: System entirely freezes--keyboard, mouse no use

2016-12-21 Thread Ante Kirt
Hi Eric,

|As it happens, I just re-started testing new kernels yesterday and so
far 4.8.0.32 seems to work, no hangs yet. (Reminder: this used to happen
mostly before login but also sometimes after hours of working). I will
keep on testing and you guys updated.

Even further tested and it is between kernels 4.4 and 4.8. Definitely.

I further tested startup options and found this does not happen until
trying to use kernel 4.8.0-27. 4.8.0-26 seems to work fine so far.

This same thing happens to me after upgrading to kernel 4.8. Switching
back to 4.4 is a temporary solution though not ideal.

[Bug 681569] [NEW] Embedded Adobe Flash content plays without sound

2010-11-25 Thread Ante Kirt
Public bug reported:

Binary package hint: firefox

Pulseaudio is working fine apart from this big bug. Removing pulseaudio
solved the problem, and generic (ubuntu default) sound driver plays

for me, and I could not find any other sound driver package that matched
pulseaudio.
