This behaviour was observed on Ubuntu 14.04 and this logic appears to be
present even on the latest
Thanks Joseph, with the 4.15-rc7 kernel, the system seems stable after
16 hours. With the 4.4 kernel, the lockups reproduce within 1-2 hours of
running the workload.

I'm using Ubuntu 14.04.1 LTS with the 4.4.0-104-generic kernel, and
running a user-mode-linux heavy workload. Every now and then, the system

verified that the lockups go away if UML is not enabled. I have trie
