Seeing it also on my Acer Swift 1 laptop with the newer Ubuntu 4.15 kernel releases (newest as of this writing is 4.15.0-35-38, and the issue is present in that build) and also with the mainline 4.18.10 release. My touchpad is also an Elantech, but is a different model from the original report. My
