[Bug 1880125] Re: v3d driver clock problem forces OpenGL to use software rendering
I had the same issue with the latest stable 64-bit kernel. However upgrading to the latest proposed 5.4.0-1014.14 kernel (https://launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/linux-raspi/5.4.0-1014.14) fixed it, and now the V3D driver works by default. I tried only with 64-bit, on a Raspberry Pi 4 Model B Rev 1.4. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1880125 Title: v3d driver clock problem forces OpenGL to use software rendering To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/linux-raspi/+bug/1880125/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs

I tried booting in normal mode but with "nosplash debug" options, and it froze with lots of these messages: nouveau :01:00.0: fifo: runlist 0 update timeout nouveau :01:00.0: tmr: stalled at So it seems the freeze is caused by nouveau (the laptop has a NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1050). -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1874624 Title: Unable to boot 20.04 LTS installer on Dell XPS 15 9560 To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/linux/+bug/1874624/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs

I have the same issue on my Dell XPS 15 9560. As soon as the graphical interface would start, the system either shuts down or freezes completely. [Bug 44233] Re: mount udf dvd fails, possible wrong fstab entry
I think it's obvious that there are two completely different bugs discussed here. The first (and original) one, which is in the bug description, has been fixed by myself, and it has been released a long time ago. The bug was in the parsing of the fs type string. It wasn't hardware dependent. The second bug has nothing to do with this, and it's possible that it isn't even in the util-linux package. Because the fix for the original bug has been released, I'm reverting the status back to Fix Released. Please file a new bug with a proper and precise description of this second problem. It doesn't belong here. ** Changed in: util-linux Status: Confirmed = Fix Released ** Changed in: util-linux (Ubuntu) Status: Confirmed = Fix Released -- mount udf dvd fails, possible wrong fstab entry https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/44233 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is a direct subscriber. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs

[Bug 132708] Threading Building Blocks
Public bug reported: http://osstbb.intel.com/ Intel® Threading Building Blocks (TBB) offers a rich and complete approach to expressing parallelism in a C++ program. It is a library that helps you leverage multi-core processor performance without having to be a threading expert. Threading Building Blocks is not just a threads-replacement library. It represents a higher-level, task-based parallelism that abstracts platform details and threading mechanism for performance and scalability. [Bug 44233] Re: mount udf dvd fails, possible wrong fstab entry
Hi, The bug is in mount and I've managed to fix it. It has nothing to do with UDF or ISO9660, and it's not Ubuntu-specific: mount may fail when you try to mount a read-only device in read/write mode and you specify more than one file system type. It works only if the correct file system type is the last one in the list. I've just sent the patch to the util-linux-ng mailing list.
