I only wish that the developers would clearly mark this as "won't fix" instead
of promising to change it somewhere in the next decade.
Nowadays, user's home directory should be something different from what $HOME
points to. The latter is for configs, autogenerated files and junk, just like
it
Arch linux, plasma 5.6.4. The bug is still here.
With dual monitors, when a panel is attached to the edge between the monitors,
the windows go under that panel, no matter what the panel settings are.

Don't be so impatient. If bug does not prevent Unity from starting it will
linger for years. Anyway, here is workaround. The /bin/fsck.btrfs exists. If it
is not there, reinstall btrfs-tools. Then,
sudo ln -s /bin/fsck.btrfs /sbin/fsck.btrfs
and all is fine.
