[Bug 1292833] Re: Alt+F4 doesn't work after restarting unity
My workaround in Linux Mint 20.1 MATE was to add a Keyboard shortcut. Alt+F4 runs this command: wmctrl -c :ACTIVE: -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1292833 Title: Alt+F4 doesn't work after restarting unity To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/unity/+bug/1292833/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs

Linux Mint here, experiencing this same problem after running `compiz --replace ccp`. So this bug has been around for 6+ years? [Bug 1916919] Re: after upgrade to 5.4.0-66 monitor remains black after off/on cycle
I'm back to say that kernel 5.4.0-66-generic works for me again after applying the grub default `amdgpu.dc=0` work-around mentioned above. This is for a Radeon RX 580 if that helps. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1916919 Title: after upgrade to 5.4.0-66 monitor remains black after off/on cycle To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/linux/+bug/1916919/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
[Bug 1916919] Re: after upgrade to 5.4.0-66 monitor remains black after off/on cycle
I can confirm I have the same issue. I've reverted the kernel back to 5.4.0-65 to temporarily solve the issue. [Bug 1615286] Re: xfce - screen turns black after power off/power on
I've just started experiencing this bug. I'm on Linux Mint 20.1 and anything that turns the monitor off now (something I have been doing often for months with power saving and manually turning it off myself) will cause the monitor to never get video signal from the video card again until a reboot is performed. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1615286 Title: xfce - screen turns black after power off/power on To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/linuxmint/+bug/1615286/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
