Public bug reported: After updating from 3.1.4 to 3.1.90 the activities window is too wide, when pressing the windows key and having two open windows I can see only half of the second window and no search box at all. When searching the Google and wikipedia buttons are there twice so I guess it seems to be a wrong number somewhere changed to the doubled value. In the application overview I can't see the categories nor any scrollbars. Yes it's reproducible, after startup you have to authenticate the first time you plug-in the device, afterwards it mounts automatically, but read-only again. To reproduce install jaunty and upgrade to karmic, but it worked after the update so it must have been some of the following ones. Indeed, it mounts when using mtp, even without my actual problem with the cardreader. Either way, something is wrong here and should be fixed. I'll provide any information necessary, just tell me what you need. MSC mode mounts two devices (SD Player, this is because I had to unbrick mine, and Sandisk Corp. Sansa E200 series) when the card in my cardreader is present. Rhythmbox doesn't play at all when selecting ALSA in the audio control applet under System - Preferences - Audio so I had to use OSS and select IEC 958 in the volume control applet to get any sound at all.
