Perhaps this isn't the right place to ask, but it seems like a good
place to document succession of packages... Are there KDE or Gnome
packages that replace the unmaintained packages that support CPU
Frequency display?

As I was upgrading from 7.04 to 7.10 (better late than never, eh?) a
font failed to install. It looks like that failure caused a whole
cascade of open office failures. Hopefully the details are in the extra
debug information.
