I just downloaded ubuntu and want to become part of the community but right
away I cant get my laptop's touch pad to work. I've downloaded the synaptic
driver however when I run
$ cat /proc/bus/input/devices
as I was suggested to do my touch pad is not showing up on the list at all.
Help would be greatly appreciated as I would love to make ubuntu my main OS.
