Public bug reported:

I am attempting to play a mp4 file using gstreamer's gst-play-1.0.  What
I see is that a window is opened and a segmentation fault is reported
(window closes).

I am running Jammy:

Description: Ubuntu Jammy Jellyfish (development branch)
Release:        22.04

On an Intel Coffelake core-i7 / integrated (Gen 9) graphics.

The machine is updated as of Feb 22, 2022. Package version is:

$ apt-cache policy gstreamer1.0-plugins-base-apps
gstreamer1.0-plugins-base-apps:
  Installed: 1.20.0-2
  Candidate: 1.20.0-2
  Version table:
 *** 1.20.0-2 500
        500 http://us.archive.ubuntu.com/ubuntu jammy/main amd64 Packages
        100 /var/lib/dpkg/status
bms20@lichking:/tmp$

Crash log attached.

Any advice on how to fix welcome!
