[Bug 1574354] Re: playing .mp4 in VLC freezes machine
I removed my regular VLC install, and I installed it as a snap package instead: sudo snap install vlc VLC seems to play mp4 files fine with the VLC snap install. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1574354 Title: playing .mp4 in VLC freezes machine To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/vlc/+bug/1574354/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
[Bug 1566999] [NEW] Causes Dropbox to crash when context menu item selected
Public bug reported: In am in Xubuntu 14.04, Xfce 4.12. Dropbox version 3.16.1. When I select a context menu item in Thunar it causes Dropbox to crash. I need to log out and in again in order to re-start Dropbox. This has happened when selecting Copy Dropbox Link and View Previous Versions. I have not tested the other two menu items. Other info: The Dropbox tray icon has been broken in Xfce since Dropbox version 3.14.x. I am just using my script, http://askubuntu.com/questions/732967/dropbox-icon-is-not-working- xubuntu-14-04-lts-64#answer-736727, instead of the workarounds listed there to fix the icon. I have much appreciated having this program. In the meantime, I am going to integrate new Dropbox CLI features including sharelinks into Thunar via custom actions https://www.dropbox.com/en/help/9192. [Bug 1391380] [NEW] Chrome/Chromium Error Causing Log-in Session to Crash
Public bug reported: I have Ubuntu 12.04 installed with proprietary Catalyst drivers with Xinerama enabled because I have three monitors. The first time I open Chromium or Chrome there is no issue. However, if I close Chromium/Chrome and open again, my log-in session will crash. Below is the error I get when I open it in terminal. The point it forces logout is when it arrives at: [2925:2925:1105/155658:ERROR:desktop_window_tree_host_x11.cc(1478)] Not implemented reached in void views::DesktopWindowTreeHostX11::MapWindow(ui::WindowShowState) I know for a fact that having Xinerama enabled is causing this.
