[Bug 1082035] Re: Dell laptop 3550 wifi connects a few seconds and after that IP connection goes down
Hi I found that this bug only happens when the followings conditions are met: - ubuntu linux (pangolin maybe?) - router/modem that provides internet access: ubee - network wireless protocol : WEP I have concluded that because I had other internet provider before and the connection wireless protocol was WPA and it connected well, and furthermore, a few days ago, after complaining about the connection failure with my actual provider, they changed the connection type to WPA, and surprise, I got to connect without any problem until now. thanks four your help team. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1082035 Title: Dell laptop 3550 wifi connects a few seconds and after that IP connection goes down To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/linux/+bug/1082035/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs

[Bug 966850] Re: Wrong language used
When I add a folder with accents, i.e: imágenes , the files can't be readed. When I add the same files with add file options, it works ok. I think is a encoding problem with the path. The MainWindow.conf file starts with: 1\item=/home/apolinux/Im\xe1genes/wallpapers/1.jpg 2\item=/home/apolinux/Im\xc3\x83\xc2\xa1genes/wallpapers/Dinosaurios.jpg 3\item=/home/apolinux/Im\xc3\x83\xc2\xa1genes/wallpapers/2.jpg the first item reads ok, but the others not. I hope it helps to fix the program. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/966850 Title: Wrong language used To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/wallch/+bug/966850/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
[Bug 978177] [NEW] graphic session closes opening a big png image
Public bug reported: I have received a too large png image from gmail. I just downloaded the file to my downloads folder. I opened with the default app: image viewer. After that, all the windows are closed and my session is ended automatically, returning again to the login. I did this process three times and I got always the same result. Even I tried to open with firefox, but I got the same result. But, when I tried to open the file with gimp, I could view without problem. The image weighs 1.3MB and it has 2733 of width and 14867 of height. It's a screenshot from a windows seven. lsb_release -rd Description:Ubuntu 11.10 Release:11.10 apt-cache policy eog eog: Instalados: 3.2.1-0ubuntu1 Candidato: 3.2.1-0ubuntu1 Tabla de versión: *** 3.2.1-0ubuntu1 0 500 http://co.archive.ubuntu.com/ubuntu/ oneiric-updates/main amd64 Packages 100 /var/lib/dpkg/status 3.2.0-0ubuntu1 0 500 http://co.archive.ubuntu.com/ubuntu/ oneiric/main amd64 Packages apt-cache policy firefox firefox: Instalados: 11.0+build1-0ubuntu0.11.10.1 Candidato: 11.0+build1-0ubuntu0.11.10.1 Tabla de versión: *** 11.0+build1-0ubuntu0.11.10.1 0 500 http://co.archive.ubuntu.com/ubuntu/ oneiric-updates/main amd64 Packages 500 http://security.ubuntu.com/ubuntu/ oneiric-security/main amd64 Packages 100 /var/lib/dpkg/status 7.0.1+build1+nobinonly-0ubuntu2 0 500 http://co.archive.ubuntu.com/ubuntu/ oneiric/main amd64 Packages I have a dell vostro 3550 with 6GB ram, and a intel core i5. ** Affects: ubuntu Importance: Undecided Status: New -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/978177 Title: graphic session closes opening a big png image To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+bug/978177/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
