[Bug 411350] Re: gnome-screensaver not functioning
Using Mythbuntu 9.10 (xfce) 1. Edited /etc/sources.list and inserted gpg pub key manually 2. updated, upgraded, and rebooted. 3. Confirmed GUI settings: 1min idle, no screen lock, blank screensaver Result: Unsuccessful. For your convenience, see attached if you like. [Bug 411350] Re: gnome-screensaver not functioning
Sorry, it looks like your fix doesn't apply to me since I'm using xfce. Sorry to waste your time. I wonder what mythbuntu users are supposed to do about this now. -- gnome-screensaver not functioning https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/411350 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
[Bug 493573] Re: gnome-screensaver doesn't activate under XFCE
When I first discovered the bug, I installed xscreensaver as my first workaround. However, the screensaver was activated when I was watching TV. So it seemed like I moved from one bug to another. Has anyone else successfully configured xscreensaver to work? -- gnome-screensaver doesn't activate under XFCE https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/493573 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
