Step to reproduce :
Open any document
then fileprint
Select 'Print to file' in the printing dialog
in 'Save in folder' select any folder different from home
then print
The document will be generated in the home folder wathever the
selected folder.

Same problem (on French version )
At first computer start, trash applet will crash then on reboot applet will
load correctly.
It will reproduce almost each morning.
I am not so clearly how to run the gdb because this is at startup of computer I
cannot enter anything before

Try it on Karmik and Jaunty both have the problem.
When try to display the icons of SVG directory of Inkscape-devel
the Nautilus window crash and all the desktop icons are removed during this
session.
