[Bug 1945590] Re: Thinkpad E14 Gen2: Kernel panic with trackpad and trackpoint enabled

2022-02-02 Thread Christian Hoffmann
Thanks a bunch. It also works on a ThinkPad E14 Gen 2 with Ryzen 7 4700u and AMD Renoir. When I started with the new kernel I first had graphics issues. No animations, only internal monitor working, black screen after sleep. That was caused by a missing graphics driver. Software Updater suggested

I stumbled upon this problem as well. The root cause is an error in the build process, more specifically the debian/rules Makefile. First, the ldap flavour of the binary is built and moved to isc-dhcp-server-ldap/dhcpd. This works as expected, the resulting binary contains ldap symbols as

I'm hitting this problem on a fully updated Kubuntu 10.10. Please see the attached stack trace (with almost all debugging symbols). Steps to reproduce: - open brasero - create a new cd (type doesn't matter, I chose data cd for simplicity) - add one or more files - click burn (loosely

Turns out the problem is already known and fixed at upstream [1]. I've successfully built a version of brasero based on the current ubuntu sources (apt-get source brasero). After applying the mentioned [2] patch, the problem no longer exists. Hope this helps to release a fixed brasero package
