[Bug 1575781] Re: Firefox 46 crashes on Ubuntu 12.04 (precise) with Oxygen-GTK3

2016-05-02 Thread Claude Krantz
As the OP I like to thank the maintainers for fixing that bug in oxygen- gtk3 so quickly. Many thanks for your work. I would like to add that I now switched to Firefox ESR (from upstream) in order to keep a pure GTK2 system until EOL of precise. Looks like a viable alternative for me after all

[Bug 1575781] [NEW] Firefox 46 crashes on Ubuntu 12.04 (precise) with Oxygen-GTK3

2016-04-27 Thread Claude Krantz
Public bug reported: Dear maintainers, As of version 46, Firefox shipping with Ubuntu 12.04 (precise) is linked against GTK3 instead of GTK2. When the Oxygen-GTK3 theme (installed from the Ubuntu 12.04 repos) is active in ~/.config/gtk-3.0, Firefox crashes on startup. The crash does not occur

[Bug 1184663] Re: Incorrect margins when printing to a laser printer using CUPS 1.6.x

2014-06-07 Thread Claude Krantz
I have been affected by this for years while printing from Linux (Ubuntu 12.04) via a FreeBSD (9.2 for what matters) CUPS server (versions 1.5.x to 1.7.x at least). I have two printers: HP Laserjet 1320 and HP Deskjet 5550 which are installed via CUPS on the FreeBSD server and shared with the

I sadly created a duplicate of this bug https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/xserver-xorg-input- synaptics/+bug/978327 as I couldn't find this older description. This bug affects me as well since upgrade to Precise Pangolin on a Thinkpad T400: Coasting scrolling does not work no matter if I

[Bug 978327] [NEW] Scrolling coasting no longer works in Precise Pangolin

2012-04-10 Thread Claude Krantz
Public bug reported: After upgrading to Precise (x86_64), the coasting scrolling feature of my Thinkpad T400 touchpad no longer seems to work. Scrolling itself works fine, both by (emulated) two-finger touch or at the edge of the pad, but coasting does not seem to get triggered even if I move my

2012-03-01 Thread Claude Krantz
I can confirm that the LD_PRELOAD method does not work in a x86_64 environment (with 64-bit firefox). The acroread_exec_monitor.so does not preload even if compiled with the -fPIC option. I did not really try to understand why. However, as suggested by swt-techie, one can compile

... forgot this one: Before running build_interceptor.sh as described above, one has to change the line - #undef WRAPPER_INCARNATION + #define WRAPPER_INCARNATION in acrobat_interceptor.c. Sorry for that. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which
