[Bug 1224732] Re: Custom keyboard shortcuts don't work

2015-05-24 Thread Commoner
The solution suggested by gazhai (#52) worked for me, too. I have Ubuntu
14.04.2 Classic. The only problem is tat every time I add a keyboard
shortcut I have to logout and login to get it working. Is there an
application that could do the same thing as logout-login?

2012-10-01 Thread Commoner
I had the same problem with Ubuntu 12.04. Fix in #77 solved it.

[Bug 257475] Re: Dell Inspiron 8000 split screen with ATI Mobility 4 display adapter

2012-02-08 Thread Commoner
I also had a split screen in my Dell Inspiron 8000 when installed Ubuntu
11.10 Oneiric. After a lot of net reading and experimentation, I found
the following simple solution. I created a new xorg.conf file in the
directory /etc/X11. The file contains only the following lines

Section Device
 Identifier Card0
 Driver vesa
EndSection

As some other posts indicated, you have to change the graphic card
driver. However, it was difficult to figure out how to do it correctly
in the new Ubuntu that originally has no xorg.conf file.

[Bug 562027] Re: [ooo-build] OOo QuickStarter: unable to shutdown / reboot / logout when quickstarter is active

2011-01-24 Thread Commoner
Panticz' fix worked also for me. In addition I had to clear the folder
.openoffice.org/3/user/registry/cache and reboot.
